Fountain at SMB and Wilshire

Was on the way to the beach with my friend Daniel, and I shot this fountain through the bus window.  The plexiglass window gave it a cool, gauzy look, and then I did a little color grading in Photoshop to tone down the greens and bring out the purples.

My friend Mike's been working on his beard.  We did a shoot today to preserve it for posterity.

This was one of those moments that I was really glad my camera was already on with the lens cap off.  Was walking across a parking lot at dawn when all of these seagulls took off.

My dad and I were playing with my remotely-fired flash.  He handed me a metal colander and we laid the flash down on a red rug and put the colander over it.  We turned the lights off and took shot of the flash coming through the holes in the colander.  I then duplicated it a bunch of times in Photoshop and overlaid all the copies.  All the color in the photo comes from the rug.
